This is a 2,000 hectare sheep raising and cattle breeding farm which once required a small village to run the property. This village is still in the same order as it was when used to service this large property including a 160 year old wool shed. Poltalloch is about an hour and a half from Adelaide Airport by our Meet & Greet service. The 5 star hosts are descendants of the original family who settled this land in 1839, but the best thing about the area is the wonderful birdlife on Lake Alexandra. Your accommodation is on the banks of this huge lake, allowing you to see and hear all the bird life that make Lake Alexandra their home.
